The Institute for Woman's Safety and Personal Protection was established for the sole purpose of empowering women allowing them to move beyond fear and take control of their lives and provide them with the tools, skills and proper mental focus to effectively prevent themselves, their children and loved ones from becoming victims of predatory violence.

This Basic Firearms Training Program is designed to give you the knowledge and skill sets required to safely and effectively handle firearms for home and personal protection.

This course is both classroom instruction and live fire instruction and covers the following information:

  • Firearms Safety
  • Deadley Force
  • The Law and Liability
  • Choosing the Right Weapon
  • Ammunition Selection
  • Revolvers, Pistols and Shotguns
  • Firearm Operation
  • Basic Shooting Skills
  • Range Safety
  • Range Commands
  • Written Exam
  • Practical Exam

    • Our classroom practical training includes the use of Air Soft (tm) replica weapons that provide the look feel and action of actual firearms and are perfect for teaching the basic safety, operation and employement of firearms. This allows our instructors to provide a highly mobile and safe practical shooting program for the beginning student. Groups and organizations can schedule a training program and we bring it to your location! No need to travel or find a range to learn the basics of proper shooting.

    Duartion: 2 Days, Saturday and Sunday 7:00AM - 7:00PM
    Minimum 10 Attendees to hold Course
